The good autism practice training has been designed to support all practitioners working directly with young people on the autism spectrum to develop their practice.
This training offers practical approaches to developing teaching, learning and support strategies for all staff working directly with young people on the autism spectrum (including tutors, learning support practitioners, assessors, trainers and job coaches).
The training will:
·         develop your understanding of autism and what makes good autism practice.
·         provide you with practical strategies to support outcomes and experiences for the students with whom your work.
·         provide you with tools to develop and evaluate your practice and that of your setting.

Cancellations of places should be notified to The SEND Teaching School in writing. Cancellations received within 2 working weeks of the course start date will be subject to a 50% payment of the fee paid. Cancellations received within 1 week of the course start date will incur the full fee. Failure to attend a course will be considered a cancellation and will incur the full fee. If the course or any part of the course is cancelled by The SEND Teaching School, we will initially seek to re-programme the dates. If this is not possible, we will return any booking deposit or fee paid.
