Join our SEND and Wellbeing Conference
An award-winning author will be taking part in a professional training event we are organising in Surrey next month.
The one-day conference has been organised by our SEND Teaching School and covers topics from wellbeing in the early years to emotion coaching and the dynamics of how children learn in the classroom.
Author Will Hussey, who wrote the Art of Brilliance, will be joined by former teacher and author Gary Wilson, who created Raising Boys’ Achievement and Diary of a Brilliant Kid, at the event on March 27.
Inclusion expert Jules Daulby, co-founder of the #WomenEd group and podcaster of The Inclusive Classroom is also due to take part in the SEND and Wellbeing conference in Dorking.
We want to ensure children and young people who have special educational needs achieve the very best outcomes enhanced by our teaching school. The conference is one of many training opportunities we offer and we look forward to welcoming everyone through our doors – including those from neighbouring authorities.
The teaching school offers a hub of information, training and support for families, schools, organisations and businesses.
Aimed at teaching professionals, the conference will include an afternoon of workshops for delegates to take part in and there will be a variety of exhibitors at the venue – but more are welcome to be involved.
